About Guff Gaff
गफगाफ means easy, friendly chit-chat. Guff Gaff is a private chat app for close circles of friends and family, made for people who would rather talk than fiddle with settings.
Who it’s for
Old friends, school batches, neighbours and families, many of them from Nepal and now living around the world. It’s designed for grown-ups of every age, with big text, big buttons and words on every important button.
What makes it different
- Your phone number stays private. You sign in with Google or your email. Friends see your name and photo, never your number.
- Invite only. Groups are joined through a link from someone already inside. No strangers, no ads.
- Messages tidy themselves away. Each group’s admin chooses how long messages last (7 days to start with), so nothing piles up and your phone doesn’t fill up.
- Guffu, the AI friend. Call @Guffu for a joke, a quiz, a recipe, phone help or a friendly debate, in Nepali, Romanised Nepali or English.
- Festivals and birthdays. Guffu greets the group on Dashain, Tihar, Maghe Sankranti, Holi and Nepali New Year, and wishes friends a happy birthday.
- Nepali memes built in, plus GIFs, photos, videos and voice messages.
- A passcode lock, so the chat stays private when someone else picks up your phone.
